Small Business Owner is Honored by High School
KHS Hall of Fame Inductee Saint Louis Closet Co. owner Jennifer Quinn Williams has been selected for induction to the first Kirkwood High School Hall of Fame!! Williams is one of the first KHS Hall of Fame Inductee.
Jennifer graduated from Kirkwood High School in the Class of 1984. Because her love of the school, the journalism department, and her principal Franklin McCallie all adds to the honor of this award. The recognition ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 25th, 2010. Congrats Jennifer!
KHS Outstanding Alumni Hall of Fame Nomination
The purpose of the Kirkwood Outstanding Alumni Hall of Fame is to honor men and women who have achieved success in some recognized field of endeavor and who would serve as appropriate role models for future Kirkwood High students. Likewise, the KHS Hall of Fame Inductee Selection will be based on the following criteria:
1. High achievement in one or more recognized fields of cultural endeavor such as the arts, music, theater, dance, literature, etc.
2. Extraordinary success in trade, business or industry.
3. Unusual contribution to the nation of one’s state or community through good works or charitable beneficence.
4. Excellence in service to a recognized profession such as the law, education, medicine, science, journalism, etc.
Categories
Alumni-Must have graduated from KHS at least ten years prior.
Lifetime Achievement Award:
Employees-Must be at least two years beyond employment time or service.
Community Members- Must have been instrumental in contributing to the advancement of public education in the Kirkwood School District community.
