KidSmart Back to School Drive St. Louis Closet Co.

Every August, thousands of St. Louis kids head back to the classroom — but not every one of them shows up with the tools they need to succeed. That’s why Saint Louis Closet Co. is teaming up with KidSmart this year for a back-to-school backpack drive, and we’re inviting our customers, neighbors, and community to join us.

Why We’re Getting Involved

At Saint Louis Closet Co., we’ve spent over three decades helping St. Louis families create organized, functional spaces they love — from custom closets to garages to home offices. But organization isn’t just about beautiful cabinetry. It’s about setting people up to thrive, and that starts early. A student who walks into their first day of school with a backpack full of the right supplies walks in with a little more confidence, a little less worry, and a much better shot at a great year.

KidSmart has been outfitting under-resourced St. Louis classrooms and students with essential supplies for years, and we’re proud to lend our space — and our community’s generosity — to their mission this fall.

How You Can Help – Back to School Drive St. Louis

We’re making it easy to give back. Here is how to contribute:

Donate a Backpack and School Supplies Fill a new backpack with new school supplies — think notebooks, pencils, folders, crayons, glue sticks, and other classroom essentials — and drop it off at our showroom.

• Dates: August 3, 2026  – September 25, 2026

• Back to School Drive St. Louis Drop-off Location: Saint Louis Closet Co., 2626 South Big Bend Blvd

• Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Saturday 10:00am to 2:00pm

Stop by anytime during the drive to drop off your new backpack + school supplies — our team will make sure it gets into KidSmart’s hands and, ultimately, into the hands of a St. Louis student who needs it.

A Community Effort

Back-to-school season is a reminder of how much a little organization and preparation can change someone’s outlook. We believe every kid in St. Louis deserves to start the school year feeling ready — and with your help, we can make that happen for even more students this fall.
